Solutions Principal
About the Role:
As a Solutions Principal, you will be responsible for driving sales strategy and leading negotiations on significant regional and global pursuits. This role sits within the Sales function and focuses on designing and delivering strategic solutions for prospective, new, and existing clients.
What You'll Do:

Oversee the development of complex proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials in partnership with marketing professionals.

Drive high-volume sales activity across the full lifecycle, including qualification, discovery, proposal development, pricing presentations, and negotiations.

Establish and cultivate corporate relationships with executive stakeholders across client organizations.

Prepare and manage multi-channel business marketing and development budgets.

Lead key initiatives, build business cases for investment, and align operational units toward shared business development goals.

Own and achieve large financial, operational, and performance objectives tied to client deliverables and KPIs.

Apply extensive and diversified expertise to develop innovative and differentiated solutions.

Demonstrate thought leadership in advanced techniques, industry trends, and emerging technologies within the function.

Anticipate business and industry challenges, recommending proactive and innovative strategies.

Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values.

Navigate objections and complex stakeholder dynamics to drive alignment and successful outcomes.

Negotiate with senior leadership, clients, regulators, and vendors to influence decisions of strategic importance.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered.

Demonstrated expertise in advanced theories, techniques, and technologies within your function.

Strong independent judgment with the ability to determine methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for measuring success.

Proven ability to recognize and resolve highly significant and complex business situations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Exceptional organizational skills paired with a naturally inquisitive, strategic mindset.

Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to perform complex calculations and interpret sophisticated financial data.

Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems with sound business judgment.

Innovative and conceptual thinker capable of developing new, differentiated solutions.

Executive-level negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior management, clients, regulators, and vendors on matters of strategic importance.

Skilled at anticipating objections, navigating competing priorities, and persuading senior stakeholders to achieve alignment.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Solutions Principal position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Solutions Principal position is $205,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
