We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact.
As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.
THE TEAM
You’ll be joining our dynamic Residential team, focused on the strategic expansion and commercial success of Rosewood Hotel Group’s Residential business globally. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Residential, Global, you will collaborate closely with teams across Development, Feasibility & Business Intelligence, Design & Project Services, Legal, Operations and Finance. This highly collaborative team is execution-focused and deeply committed to delivering market-leading branded residential experiences in partnership with ownership groups and project teams worldwide.
YOUR ROLE
As the Director, Residential Development and Strategy, Global, you will support the full lifecycle of Rosewood’s residential business—providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise from early development planning and deal structuring through to pricing strategy, sales approach and owner engagement. Partnering closely with the SVP Residential and the global Development team, you will shape both standalone and mixed-use residential projects to ensure they are commercially sound, brand-aligned and positioned for success in global luxury markets.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
· Support the planning and delivery of standalone residential developments globally, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and ownership groups.
· Contribute to the evolution and execution of Rosewood’s residential vision, strategy and brand positioning.
· Provide expert input on residential product definition, unit mix, sizing, layouts and amenity programming to ensure market relevance and commercial viability.
· Partner with the Global Development team to shape residential strategy for mixed‑use projects, from feasibility through deal structuring.
· Review, challenge and validate project assumptions to optimise residential positioning, performance and long‑term value.
· Develop and support residential pricing, sales and release strategies, including broker selection and onboarding, to drive absorption and sales velocity.
· Provide direction on service charge/HOA fee structures, ensuring alignment with Rosewood’s operating model, brand standards and market competitiveness.
· Act as a trusted residential subject‑matter expert to internal teams and ownership groups, providing practical, commercially grounded residential development advice.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
· You bring strong experience in residential real estate development and sales strategy, ideally with exposure to branded residential and luxury mixed-use projects.
· You bring a solid understanding of residential pricing strategy, sales planning and approaches to driving sales velocity and absorption.
· You are confident engaging with ownership groups, offering credible and actionable development guidance.
· You understand global luxury residential markets and buyer profiles and can translate insights into strategy and execution.
· You thrive in collaborative environments and partner effectively across development, operations and commercial teams.
· You are hands-on, detail-oriented and able to turn strategic vision into practical execution.
· You think commercially, challenge assumptions and ensure residential components are positioned for long-term success.
· You communicate clearly, influence effectively and bring a solutions-focused approach to complex development challenges.
· You hold a Hotel, Business School or University degree or equivalent, with focus on real estate, finance or economics preferred.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
