Barista

Parched Hospitality Group Inc. is seeking experienced Barista/Servers to join our team at Hole In The Wall in the Financial District (15 Cliff St NYC) Our number one priority is fun, energetic, authentic people - our team and our culture is everything! The ideal candidate will be warm, welcoming and passionate about delivering an excellent experience (and espresso!) to all of those who step through our doors. We truly believe that every great day starts with a fresh cup of coffee and ends with a perfectly crafted espresso martini.

Hole in the Wall is Australian cafe offering specialty coffee and brunch by day, and good viiiiiiibes alll week long! 

As the Barista/Server you will:

• Create and serve a variety of espresso based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, and more!)
• Weigh and dial in espresso shots
• Ensure top quality execution of all beverages (hint: latte art!!!!)
• Greet and interact with guests, creating an environment that is friendly, positive and down to earth
• Work on the floor and take orders from guests, answer questions, make suggestions, place orders, etc.
• Run food and drink from the kitchen/barista station as needed to customer tables
• Maintain and regularly clean/sanitize the espresso machine and work station
• Share knowledge and suggest menu items to our guests

What you must have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in speciality coffee, high volume environment
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in restaurants/cafes
• Ability to dial in espresso and filter coffee
• Passion for providing the an exception experience for all of those
• Availability in the mornings (as early as 8am), on weekends and holidays
• Problem solving skills, team first mentality, and a warm, friendly personality!!!
