HR Generalist

Responsibilities:
- Administer weekly payroll for approximately 40 full-time employees
- Manage employee benefits, including enrollments and updates
- Screen and interview candidates, assist with onboarding
- Maintain personnel records
- Oversee employee training and conduct annual required policy-related training
- Administer pay increases and maintain compensation records
- Update policies as needed to ensure compliance and best practices
- Assist with annual reviews, coaching, and disciplinary matters
- Manage workers compensation claims and maintain related OSHA records
- Participate in quarterly safety meetings, and participate in audits on shop floor
- Participate in Strategic Planning
- Represent company at career & job fairs, as well as industry related events
- Other HR-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with HR software and Google Workspace (docs, sheets, forms, etc)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Experience in payroll processing and benefits administration preferred
- Experience with AI a plus
This is a fully onsite, full-time role.
Our office staff follows a 9/80 work schedule: Monday–Thursday: 8am to 5pm OFF Alternating Fridays; 8am to 4pm for “ON” Fridays
