Job Summary:
- Join our team as a Behavioral Health Therapist in a Primary Care setting located in Manhattan, NY.
- This full-time role requires working Monday through Friday with no weekend shifts.
- The position involves conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while utilizing electronic medical records for documentation.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid New York State license (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
- Advanced degree in mental health counseling, social work, or related field.
- Experience with diverse populations, including serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Strong organizational skills for managing patient assessments and treatment plans.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish or an Asian language is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State license to provide mental health services (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).
- Advanced degree in mental health counseling, social work, or related field.
- Experience working with target populations.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with patients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
