Category Manager
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 4-month contract We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Business Development & Strategic Partnerships to support the growth of strategic partnerships and digital monetization initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with experience in media, advertising, technology, or consulting who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, analytics, and executive communications. Key Responsibilities
Support the development, management, and expansion of strategic business partnerships.Assist in negotiating business terms with partners and vendors supporting digital media and advertising initiatives.
Analyze financial, audience, and business data to identify partnership opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Develop executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, business cases, and partnership materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Strategy, Finance, Legal, Operations, and external partners.
Track partnership performance, prepare executive updates, and help measure the success of partnership initiatives.
Stay informed on industry trends across digital media, streaming, advertising, and content distribution.
Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity, analysis, and content development. Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in media, advertising, marketing, technology, consulting, or a related industry.
Experience supporting or negotiating business partnerships, vendor agreements, or strategic deals.
Strong analytical and financial skills, including experience building or interpreting basic financial models.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating complex information clearly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of digital advertising, content distribution, OTT/FAST platforms, or media monetization.
Experience with ad technology, programmatic advertising, measurement, or digital distribution.
Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI productivity tools.
Exposure to legal or contract-related processes is a plus. Interview Process 1 Microsoft Teams interview
