Tane Waterman & Wurtzel, P.C. is seeking an associate with 2-5 (or more) years of experience in transactional real estate law. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience representing co-ops and condominiums. The ideal candidate should have:

• strong writing and analytical skills;
• experience communicating directly with clients;
• excellent organizational skills; and
• the ability and focus to independently see projects through to completion

Applicants must be admitted to and in good standing with the New York State Bar to be considered for this position. This is predominantly an in-office position with some flexibility for remote work.

The ideal candidate should be prepared to:

• interpret governing documents and advise the boards of co-ops and condominiums;
• facilitate real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of residential properties;
• negotiate and draft commercial leases and license agreements; and
• work on a wide variety of ever-changing transactional matters

Base Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience).

To facilitate a work/life balance, the firm has a low billable hour requirement.
