About the Position
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Care (IMCU/PCU) RN to join a high-acuity stepdown unit. The role involves caring for patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and post-operative conditions, using advanced monitoring and support equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
• 12-hour Night Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 13-Week Contract (05/04/2026 – 08/01/2026)
• 48 hours/week guaranteed
• No On-call
Unit Details:
• 64-bed unit (15 Neuro beds)
• Common cases: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, Post-op
• Equipment: Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo
• Vent experience required (chronic vents with RT support)
• Floating required as needed
Requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
• Active NY RN License (Required)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certifications required
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Travel experience required
• Must provide NURSYS verification & valid ID
• RTO must be declared at submission
