Position Overview

ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. (NDGCS) is seeking a licensed Neurologist (MD/DO) to provide in-patient neurology consultation services at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center in Brooklyn, NY. This is a part-time, on-site consulting role supporting clinical evaluation, treatment recommendations, coordination with facility staff, and consult documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site neurology consultations for in-patients during scheduled clinic hours (8 hours/month ).
• Conduct neurological examinations and assessments (e.g., seizures, dementia, neurological deficits) and recommend appropriate workup/treatment.
• Review medications and clinical history; recommend testing and interpret results as needed.
• Coordinate with clinic personnel to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately and consult with referring providers as indicated.
• Complete consult reports/documentation in the facility’s required format and within required timelines.
• Participate in facility-required trainings and comply with applicable Federal/State requirements.

Schedule / Work Hours

• 8 hours per month total
• Typically 4 hours every other week (scheduled clinic days)
• Exact clinic day/time will be coordinated with the facility

Credentialing & Onboarding (Required)

• Must complete facility credentialing/privileging , which may include submission of professional documents (license, registrations, etc.), background check, and other verifications.
• Facility onboarding/training may be required prior to start (may include consecutive onboarding days depending on facility process).

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with neurology training
• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Ability to work on-site in Brooklyn, NY
• Strong clinical documentation skills and ability to follow facility reporting formats
• Willingness to complete credentialing/onboarding requirements and background checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with in-patient neurology consults
• Experience working in institutional, hospital, or behavioral health/psychiatric settings
• Familiarity with EMR documentation workflows
