Our client is a CPA firm. They seek a temp to perm Bookkeeper to join their Uniondale, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Record and post day-to-day financial transactions for multiple client accounts, primarily within the real estate sector
• Prepare and file sales tax and payroll tax returns accurately and on time
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances at month-end
• Process client payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions
• Monitor and maintain accurate financial records and generate periodic financial reports
• Collaborate with accountants and partners to support client financial reviews and reporting needs
• Maintain organized client files and ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm procedures
• Utilize QuickBooks or comparable ERP/accounting software for daily accounting activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Excel
