Machine Operator
Job Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates production machine in accordance with established
- procedures and guidelines
- Reads and interprets blue prints to select, position and secure machinery
- Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications in a timely fashion
- Works under immediate supervision
- Multi tasker with good organizational skills for managing stock and/or specials
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Knowledge of Pneumatic equipment such as Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Stapler, Router, Tape Measure, Square
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bending, twisting, stooping, excellent dexterity
- Must work at a fast pace where it is physically demanding
- Strong eye/hand coordination. Standing for long continuous hours
- Constant attention to detail and accuracy of material placement
- Concentration on proper lifting and ensure floors are kept free of debris
- Ability to read tape measure to 1/32" inch and understand bill of materials
- Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service
- Follow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or its equivalent, preferred not required
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
