What You Will Do at Greenbacker

· Responsible for all accounting work necessary to ensure accounts payable are processed in a timely manner

· Responsible for accurate coding and voucher entry of vendor invoices into accounting system based on services provided, life cycle stage of the project and other determining factors

· Review of all invoices for appropriate documentation & approvals prior to payment

· Maintain Accounts Payable electronic files and storage

· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

· Assist in month end closing and accrual process

· Assist in annual external audits

· Perform analytical and ad hoc reporting as required

· Work with internal and external customers regarding account inquiries

· Ensure compliance with internal controls in accordance with policy

· Look for areas of process improvement to ensure efficient and effective processing of AP transactions

· Assist with weekly pay run processes

· Assist with other projects as needed

What You Will Bring to Greenbacker

· Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Accounting preferred

· 1-2 years of experience in GL Accounting related field preferred

· Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.

· Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or other accounting ERP software programs is preferred.

· Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to thrive and grow quickly in a fast-growing company.

· Analytical and detail-oriented with a thirst for learning.

· Highly motivated, independent, results-oriented, and possesses a strong sense of ownership.

Greenbacker provides a competitive compensation and benefits package. Base Annual Salary range information serves as a general guideline. The base annual salary range for this position per geographic region is:

· Portland, Maine Area is $ 57,000 to $83,000. 

· New York City Metro Area is $ 67,000 to $ 92,000.

Individual base annual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to; education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
