Associate Attorney
Job title: Associate Attorney Job location: New York, NY. Offered Salary: $156,832.00 per year Number of positions: 1 opening. Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week. Job Description: Advise clients on a variety of employment-based and family-based immigrationmatters; Gather, review, analyze and compile required documentation to support a range ofimmigration applications/petitions; Conduct legal research and analysis using relevant statutes,regulations, agency guidance and case law to prepare memoranda of law and plan case strategy;Prepare and assist in filing a wide range of NIV and IV employment-based and family-basedpetitions and applications including drafting forms, preparing supporting letters, affidavits andother required documentation; Prepare RFE responses, Appeals, Motions to Reopen/ Reconsider Education and Experience required: Must possess a JD or LLM degree from an accredited University. Foreign degree equivalent acceptable. Must be admitted to the New York State bar. Must possess at least 6 months experience as an attorney working in the area of immigration law. Experience must include preparing a full range of employment-based and family-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions/applications, including but not limited to: R-1, H-1B, I-140 and I-130/485 petitions/applications.
