Electrician
We are hiring dependable workers to assist with roof blocking installation at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base. This role involves setting wood Nailers, fastening blocking, and preparing solid bases for roofing components. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights, using hand and power tools, and following direction from the site foreman. THE PAY FOR THIS POSITION IS PREVAILING WAGE
Key Responsibilities
Install roof blocking, including wood Nailers, perimeter blocking, and curb/block supports
Cut, measure, and fasten lumber to roof decks and structural members
Build solid bases for edge metal, parapet walls, HVAC curbs, gutters, and other roof components
Operate saws, drills, screw guns, and other basic tools safely
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection requirements
Requirements
Experience in roofing or carpentry preferred
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic tool knowledge (tape measure, saws, drills)
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
