Position: Sheet Metal Fabricator I
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

• 2nd Shift: 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM (Monday–Friday)

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)

In this hands-on role, you’ll work with a variety of machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools to heat, bend, form, press, cut, and refine sheet metal according to customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review operations on traveler sheets to ensure proper material, thickness, and process.

• Plan the sequence of operations for efficient production.

• Set up and adjust machinery, dies, and equipment controls as needed.

• Operate machinery safely and accurately.

• Make adjustments to maintain consistent part quality.

• Refine parts for cosmetic or customer-specific requirements.

• Use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment for quality assurance.

• Follow customer specifications and internal standards closely.

• Work overtime when needed to meet production demands.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds (assistance available if needed).

• Work in a 100% manufacturing environment near moving mechanical parts.

• Exposure to wet/humid conditions, airborne particles, and loud noise.

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required as per safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 6–12 months of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Basic math skills (decimals, percentages, fractions); geometry and trigonometry a plus.

• Comfortable using computers and learning new software, screens, reports, and ERP systems.
