Schedule: 5 days/week | 7-hour shifts | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutritional care in a clinical healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assess patient nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a strong focus on patient education, clinical documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate nutritional screening and assessments for patients
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on clinical needs
• Monitor and evaluate patients for food and drug interactions and document findings
• Provide patient and family education on dietary guidelines and nutrition therapy
• Collect and evaluate dietary histories, preferences, and lifestyle habits
• Interpret laboratory values, medical history, and physical assessments to guide nutrition planning
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to adjust and modify dietary plans
• Update and tailor patient menus according to medical and nutritional requirements
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient documentation
• Provide ongoing nutritional follow-up and monitoring
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, facility policies, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Foods, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (2+ years preferred)
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification (required)
• New York State Dietitian-Nutritionist certification (required for applicable settings)
• Active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) (for acute care settings)
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and dietary management
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related discipline
• AHA BLS Certification
