Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients in accordance with the plan of care and physician orders
- Assess patient status, monitor vitals, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments, document outcomes, and communicate with the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Document accurately in the electronic health record; participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, including fall prevention, infection control, and quality of care standards

Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Ability to work a 3x12 hour night shift
- Must meet travel assignment requirements and be eligible for temporary RN work
