TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Salary: $43,000 per GTA Contract

Bargaining Unit ( click here ( for contracts): GTA

Report Times: 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

Daily Hours: 7

Work Year: 25-26

Supervisor: Abigale Terrana

Minimum Requirements: New York State certification in social work, school counseling, or school psychology

Desired Qualifications:

-Internship certification accepted on an as-needed basis

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

-Provide substitute mental health services for various levels in areas of social work, school counseling, and school psychology.

-Follow established plans and interventions outlined by the mental health staff in buildings.

-Responsibilities could include delivering classroom lessons, small group counseling, 1:1 counseling, academic planning, evaluation, delivering evidence-based interventions, parent counseling and training, and connecting families to community resources

-Manage student behavior, as needed

-Support attendance, as needed

-Hours vary per building and assignment

-Assignments will vary throughout the year

-Follow directions given by the school administration and/or cooperating Mental Health staff
