Floor Manager

Rose Marie is looking for a restaurant Service Manager to join our team!

The Service Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the front of house, ensuring a great experience for our guests, and assisting the General Manager with day to day operational tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all restaurant employees on a daily basis, ensuring policies and processes are being followed
• Assist with the hiring, on-boarding and continuous training of employees.
• Oversee the floor during service; ensuring the team stays on task and delegating assignments
• Ensure guest satisfaction; interact with guests and engage in service recovery when issues arise
• Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service
• Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standards and recipes
• Be proactive in reaching Company goals in sales and service
• Create a positive, fun and productive working environment
• Assist with managing labor and adjusting schedules to meet business needs and goals
• Ensure compliance with department of health standards, maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety
• Facilitate meetings and trainings to improve staff knowledge and performance.
• Other duties as assigned

Restaurant Manager Qualifications:

• Minimum one year restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant
• Food Handler's certificate for NYC Food Service
• Proven leadership skills and must be able to manage, develop, and motivate a team
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while effectively delegating tasks
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead
