Shift & Schedule : Night Shift (16:00 – 00:00) | 5x7s | 35 hours/week

Duration: 9 Weeks

Pay Rate: Up to $74/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Lab Technologist – Blood Bank for an exciting Travel or Local job in Jamaica, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood bank testing and laboratory procedures accurately and efficiently
• Conduct blood typing, crossmatching, antibody screening, and compatibility testing
• Prepare and process blood products according to laboratory protocols
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Document and report laboratory findings accurately in patient records
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and storage
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding transfusion services
• Follow NYSED, hospital, and laboratory regulatory guidelines
• Assist with inventory management and blood product monitoring

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience in Blood Bank
• Associate’s Degree in laboratory technology program
• Active NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (092) with Primary Source Verification
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment
• Strong knowledge of blood bank procedures and laboratory safety standards
• Proficiency in English communication (speaking, reading, writing)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• BLS Certification
• Additional hospital laboratory experience preferred
