Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Business Analyst to serve as the primary liaison between business users-many of whom have limited technical experience-and internal technical teams and external vendors. This role focuses on system selection, requirements gathering, vendor led configuration, testing, and implementation across multiple enterprise platforms, with a strong emphasis on marketing and Salesforce related initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple initiatives at once, can project manage timelines internally, and excels at translating business needs into clear, testable technical requirements. The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors, managing multiple initiatives while owning internal timelines and deliverables. This role is responsible for eliciting and translating business needs from largely non technical users into clear, detailed technical requirements, process documentation, and testable specifications. The BA will support system selection, lead requirements gathering, coordinate vendor led configurations, and validate solutions through QA, UAT, and internal testing to ensure systems are implemented correctly and aligned with business objectives. The role also includes creating process flows and visual documentation, supporting data analysis and reporting using SQL and Excel, partnering with development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, and facilitating smooth transitions of implemented solutions to ongoing support teams

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with responsibility for managing internal project timelines

• Strong ability to elicit and translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Experience working with non technical business users and technical delivery teams

• Proficiency in SQL and intermediate level Excel for analysis and reporting

• Hands on experience with Jira and Smartsheet

• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations and vendor led configurations

• Strong testing, QA, and UAT coordination experience

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast paced environment

• Highly organized, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (strongly preferred)

• Experience with large Email Service Providers (ESPs)

• Marketing or MarTech background

• Previous experience working closely with software development teams

• Experience supporting system migrations or large scale implementations
