Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $93,995.20 - $119,376.40. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What You Will Be Doing

Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation and Performance team is seeking a Clinical Specialist level orthopedic physical therapist to join our team. Our dynamic out patient settings offer the opportunity for the physical therapist to practice in a variety of environments.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of 5+ years of outpatient clinical expertise with an emphasis in differential diagnosis, examination and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities; both non-operative and post-operative. An APTA certification such as OCS and/or SCS or certifications in manual therapy are required. NY State licensure is also a requirement. Experience in presenting in local/national professional programs is required. Direct access experience is preferable.

Along with clinical expertise, this position requires strong communication, team building, mentoring and leadership skills. The candidate will be a dynamic self-starter and have excellent customer service skills.
