WORK LOCATION

This is a remote position with eligibility in the following states: , CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, MD, MA, MI, MO, MN, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV, VT, D.C. Candidates must reside in one of the following locations for consideration.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

This role will offer $70,000 – $80,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.

Employees may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional benefits as part of our total rewards package.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant role provides critical support to the finance team by maintaining the integrity of financial records, driving timely month-end close activities, and assisting with enhancements to financial operations and reporting. This position offers exposure to private equity-backed financial rigor, ERP systems, and scalable accounting processes.

What You’ll Do

• Own specific components of the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and financial schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


• Oversee the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, and maintain financial data integrity.


• Prepare variance analysis and supporting schedules for internal reporting and decision making.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper classification of costs and revenues.


• Support development of dashboards and internal reporting metrics where applicable.


• Review and update accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.


• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all transactions.


• Research, reconcile, and resolve balance sheet discrepancies.


• Prepare audit schedules and assist with financial statement audits, as well as investor/lender reporting requests.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Minimum three years of general ledger accounting experience.


• Must be highly organized, efficient, and have strong attention to detail and financial accuracy.


• Demonstrated ability to track down information and data at a very granular level of detail.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP strongly preferred.


• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., BlackLine, FloQast, Power BI) a plus.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Able to multi-task and prioritize work under competing demands.
