Title: DC Power Technician

Location: Buffalo, NY and surrounding areas

Pay rate: $25 -$35

Scope of Work:
Install, test, and commission DC power systems including battery banks, rectifiers, and distribution panels.
Perform routine maintenance and load testing of DC batteries (VRLA, NiCad, Lithium-ion, etc.).
Troubleshoot and repair DC power equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and log power system performance and report issues or trends.
Follow technical drawings, manuals, and specifications for equipment setup.
Adhere to safety standards, codes, and regulations in all work activities.
Maintain documentation for work performed, including test results and service records.
Travel to customer sites and work independently or as part of a team.
Provide emergency support and participate in on-call rotations if required.
Travel Details:
Must use own vehicle
.45 per mile (only gets mileage from home to site, site to site, site to home) (not hotel to site if staying overnight in a hotel)
$125 a day per diem and tech books own hotel (must provide receipts for hotel to prove staying overnight somewhere)
