Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) is sought for a 13-week assignment in Utica, New York. Start date: 04/27/2026. Weekly pay: $2,307–$2,367 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 2x3 nights. The role takes place in a hospital ICU unit with a 42-bed capacity (Neuro/Med, CTICU, Surg/Trauma) where float to other ICU areas is required as needed. Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-acuity patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, including monitoring hemodynamics, neuro status, and organ systems.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including vasoactive infusions, and adjust treatments per physician orders.
- Manage advanced therapies such as CRRT/Prismaflex, ventilator support, and intracranial pressure monitoring as applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, PT/OT, case management) to develop and implement care plans.
- Perform accurate documentation in EPIC, conduct frequent rounds, and respond rapidly to clinical changes; escalate to leadership as needed.
- Float to other ICU units as required by staffing, with unit-specific ethics and safety considerations.

Requirements
- Current New York State RN license; NURSYS license verification showing an ACTIVE NY license and all active RN licenses
- 2+ years of ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU experience; travel experience documented
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (current at time of submission)
- EPIC EMR experience
- Must have CRRT and Prismaflex experience; heart ICU experience highly preferred
- Floating required to all ICU units except Behavioral and ER (unless held)
- Driving license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) request must be included at submission

Education
- Education requirements are not specified beyond licensure; candidates must hold an active RN license and meet clinical experience criteria above.
