Senior Graphic Designer

Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a hybrid position located in Tarrytown, NY.
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for graphic design lead functions for both internal and external communications. this job offer helps ensure the clear and consistent identification of Sun River Health materials and communications both for staff and for patients and the general public in all contexts. this job offer will report to and work closely with the Chief of Communications.
Essential tasks and Responsibilities of position:

»Create and maintain all graphic design for Sun River Health, in keeping with the organization's brand guidelines and identity.

»Create, prepare, and update all graphic design files including print, digital/web, social media, and related supports, both maintaining and evolving existing templates.

»Photographic editing, selections and support.

»Support and lead in internal communications graphics design including intranet, internal email campaigns, presentations, templates, and forms, and other areas as needed.

»Support for all external-facing design needs, including digital and print.

»Temporary and permanent signage design, in partnership with Sun River Health signage vendors, partners, and affiliates, including site, vehicle, and event-located graphic design.

»Design and design guidance for Sun River Health subsidiary brands, including maintenance and stewardship of the Sun River Health brand architecture.

»Support and perform website updates as needed (Wordpress/Sharpspring), including interface with web support vendor, wireframe design, and best-practice web architecture to increase health care access.

»Partner and grant-located project design support.

»Support projects and initiatives organization wide for all Sun River Health departments and lines of service.

»Publication and print design supports (flipbooks, updates, annual and other reports, profiles, etc.).

»Project management coordination and collaboration build (Asana platform).

»With other team leaders, engage in design thinking and human-centered design processes to improve existing and generate new ideas for all areas of Sun River Health.

»Oversight and maintenance of Sun River Health design, photographic, and video files both current and legacy.

»Other tasks and projects as required.
Minimum Education General Requirements: Associates degree
Preferred Education General Requirements: Bachelors degree
Bilingual English / Spanish both orally and written is preferred
Minimum Work-Related practice: 5 - 8 years
practice with Adobe Suite, Wordpress, Yext and Hootsuite are required.
practice with project management (Asana) and video editing is preferred.

income Range: $140,000 - $175,000 / Yearly
