Press Assistant
shift: Second
work hours: 4:30 PM - 2 AM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Assist press operators with machine setup, changeovers, and production runs.
- Load and unload materials, paper stock, inks, coatings, and related supplies as needed.
- Monitor equipment during operation and report any mechanical issues or production concerns.
- Perform quality checks to verify products meet customer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and assist with inventory tracking.
- Clean and maintain presses, workstations, and surrounding production areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Support preventative maintenance activities as directed by supervisors or press operators.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and warehouse personnel to meet production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
