Receiving Warehouse Receiver

: Stew Leonard's, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has eight stores in Norwalk, Danbury, and Newington, CT, Farmingdale, East Meadow and Yonkers, NY, Paramus and Clifton, NJ. Full Time Warehouse Receiver Hourly - Weekly Basis Forklift Driver Experience needed Pay: $17.70- $18.00/hr. Job Summary: A Warehouse Receiver is responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of product and placement in specific areas of the warehouse. Received goods are unloaded and content is broken down and reviewed to ensure the correct items and quantities have been delivered based on the purchase order. Education and Experience (include knowledge, skills and abilities):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have forklift experience/license
• Good communication skills, both written and oral in English
• Good organizational skills
• Possesses basic math skills
• The ability to multi-task

Working Conditions:

• The temperature in the department is colder than room temperature due to products being highly perishable
• Due to regional climate, the receiving doc may be colder than room temperature as the dock doors open frequently to accept deliveries
• The position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting and reaching with a maximum of 110lbs
