Team Member
Counter Service is an innovative, chef-driven restaurant brand founded by Steve Ells, the visionary behind Chipotle. We are looking for a restaurant Team Member to help drive excellence.
Position Summary:
The restaurant crew member is key to delivering an exceptional dining experience through expert sandwich preparation, precise order bagging, and outstanding customer service.
Essential Functions
- Food Preparation & Service: Operate makeline stations, including sandwich prep & assembly, and bun toasting.
- Order Processing: Accurately bag and check orders for completeness and quality.
- Customer Interaction: Operate the point-of-sale system and ensure friendly, attentive service.
- Quality & Safety: Follow health and safety protocols to maintain the highest food and sanitation standards.
- Teamwork & Efficiency: Work closely with fellow crew members to ensure smooth operations during each shift.
- Attendance & Reliability: Maintain consistent and dependable attendance in alignment with scheduled shifts. Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to contribute to a high-functioning production environment.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year food service experience (Required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong English communication skills
- Comfortable using restaurant technology systems
- NYC Food Handlers Certificate (Preferred)
