Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: Must have a current New York State LPN license and CPR certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a hospital or trauma setting required. Prior inpatient setting experience is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in IV placement and phlebotomy is required.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician;
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy and phlebotomy, monitor patient vital signs and status;
• Document care accurately in the EMR, and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement treatment plans.
