Established 50+ Years Premier Firm Seeking a Senior Attorney/Counsel for Commercial Litigation in Manhattan, NYC!

An established firm based in Manhattan with over 51 years in practice is seeking a Counsel or Senior Associate with 7-12+ years of Commercial Litigation experience to join their team onsite. This attorney will bring substantial experience handling complex commercial litigation matters, including familiarity with intellectual property law and disputes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients at all stages of litigation.

Salary range: $220,000-$310,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications :

Active admission to the New York State Bar is required

7-12+ years of complex commercial litigation experience
Exceptional legal writing and research skills are required
Knowledge of intellectual property law is a strong plus
Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation files at all stages
Strong courtroom presence and experience engaging opposing counsel and clients directly

Responsibilities :
Handle complex commercial litigation matters across all phases including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial
Draft high-quality motions, briefs, memoranda, and other court filings with minimal supervision
Conduct thorough legal research and apply findings to case strategy
Advise and communicate with clients on case developments and strategic direction
Apply intellectual property knowledge to relevant litigation matters where applicable
