As a Locum Radiology Physician, you will be responsible for interpreting medical imaging results, collaborating with healthcare providers, and contributing to a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze medical imaging results
• Provide expert guidance to healthcare teams based on diagnostic findings
• Conduct consultations to discuss radiology results with patients and family members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the radiology department
• Maintain clear and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Respond to urgent imaging requests as required
• Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in radiology

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current license to practice medicine in New York
• Completion of Radiology residency program
• Eligibility for board certification in Radiology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Schedule: 9p-7a

No call requirement

Nightly Volume: 147 cases per night

Duties: X-Ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound

EMR: Epic

PACS: Phillips Vue PACS

Workstations available

Must be board-certified
