Construction Controller
Kforce's client, a NYC based contractor, is seeking a Construction Controller. Duties Include:
- Perform Month End Closing and Analysis and generate monthly profitability reports
- Prepare day to day accounting records for the owners
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare year end data and journal entries for tax compliance
- Serve as lead contact for both CPA firm and Union audit engagements
- Prepare job costing reports (WIP) for jobs
- Responsible for processing payroll weekly (Union & Non Union)
- Review and verify Year End 1099's
- Supervising 1 staff member
- 8+ years of Accounting Controllership experience within the Construction/Engineering industry required
- Required to work 5 days onsite per week
