Barista - Part Time/Full Time

Bark Barbecue is opening a second 8,700 sq. ft. flagship destination in the heart of North Brooklyn (East Williamsburg/Bushwick) and is seeking hospitality professionals to join our opening team.

This is an opportunity to be part of an industry-leading buildout from the ground up, helping shape the systems, culture, and standards of a high-volume restaurant focused on exceptional barbecue, hospitality, and craftsmanship.

Position: Barista

Bark's café is being built as an industry-leading coffee program within a larger hospitality destination. We are seeking baristas who are passionate about coffee, hospitality, and craftsmanship, and who take pride in delivering exceptional beverages and guest experiences.

Responsibilities include preparing espresso-based beverages, dialing in espresso, maintaining coffee quality standards, executing latte art, operating POS systems, assisting guests, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Baristas will also have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of pour overs, single-origin coffees, and specialty coffee service.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous barista experience preferred
• Experience dialing in espresso and maintaining consistency throughout service
• Ability to produce clean, consistent latte art
• Comfortable operating POS systems such as Square
• Strong hospitality and guest service skills
• Interest in specialty coffee, pour overs, and single-origin coffees
• Mixology, bartending, craft beverage, or cocktail experience is a plus but not required
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented
