Porter
Overview: Faux is seeking a full-time PORTER to join our opening team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant is preferred, but it is not required
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines for chemicals and kitchen equipment.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace following food safety and sanitation standards
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Take out trash and recycling at designated times; keep waste areas clean and organized
- Sweep and clean floors, walls, and work surfaces
- Follow all procedures for restock, set up and breakdown of assigned areas
- Receiving and organizing deliveries as needed
