About the Role

We’re looking for a player-coach Head of Product to help define and deliver the future of enterprise stablecoins .

This is a highly hands-on leadership role where you’ll own the product roadmap, build structure and velocity, and drive alignment across engineering, compliance, and GTM teams.

You’ll start by directly managing one senior contributor, with an expectation to scale the product function as the company grows.

In your first 90 days, you’ll be setting the operational rhythm, delivering visible progress, and positioning Bastion for breakout success in 2026.

While we’re open to candidates across the U.S., there’s a strong preference for those based in or willing to relocate to New York City .

Your First 90 Days

Rather than a checklist of requirements, here’s how we’ll measure success in your first few months:

7 Days — Rapid Orientation and Decision Velocity

• Build a shared understanding of Bastion’s “Issue → Hold → Move” architecture.

• Meet core stakeholders across Engineering, Compliance, and GTM to align on decision paths.

• Identify the top 3 delivery risks across issuance, on/off-ramp, and external surfaces.

• Deliverable: One-page action plan with 3 key themes, owners, and next-step decisions.

15 Days — Unblock and Establish Rhythm

• Lock 30-day priorities for Issuance and Hold/Move reliability.

• Partner with GTM to gather customer insights that inform roadmap direction.

• Implement lean product cadences: weekly portfolio review, cross-functional intake, and risk register.

• Validate user journeys and compliance milestones.

• Deliverable: 30-day execution plan with milestones, risks, and owners.

30 Days — Ship Progress and Reduce Risk

• Deliver visible progress on at least one external customer-facing surface.

• Strengthen reliability through testing, observability, and runbooks.

• Publish a roadmap linking themes to measurable outcomes and quarterly checkpoints.

• Deliverable: Updated roadmap and repeatable planning cadence.

90 Days — Scale Impact and Prove Durability

• Demonstrate measurable product and reliability wins.

• Institutionalize product principles, analytics, and quality bars for prioritization.

• Deliverable: Significant progress toward 2026 success metrics.

Who You Are

• Experienced product leader with a track record of shipping enterprise-grade financial or blockchain products.

• Strong operator who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

• Skilled at partnering cross-functionally across engineering, compliance, and GTM.

• Comfortable building structure, velocity, and alignment in an early-stage, high-stakes environment.

• Deep interest in digital assets, payments, and financial infrastructure innovation.

Work Environment

• Location: New York, NY (Hybrid; 3–4 days in-office)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $225K – $275K (based on experience and qualifications)
