This position is not with Consilio directly; it is a direct hire, permanent opportunity with the law firm.
About the Opportunity:
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in corporate law and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic law firm environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with corporate governance and entity management tasks
- Prepare and file formation documents, annual reports, and other corporate filings
- Maintain and organize corporate records, database, and minute books
- Support the drafting and review of basic legal documents, including contracts and agreements
- Conduct legal research and compile information for attorneys as needed
- Coordinate filings with the state and federal agencies
- Assist with due diligence for transactions and corporate matters
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior xrczosw experience working with a law firm or legal environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suites
- Exposure to corporate law or business-related coursework
- Familiarity with legal document management systems or filing processes
