Registered Pharmacist, Oncology

Join a leading oncology team as a Registered Pharmacist and play a critical role in safe, evidence-based cancer care by verifying chemotherapy and immunotherapy orders, reviewing regimens against NCCN/ASCO guidelines, optimizing dosing with lab and pharmacokinetic data, and documenting interventions in the EMR. Daily responsibilities include sterile hazardous drug compounding and oversight per USP <797>/<800> , order verification for infusion center workflows, REMS compliance, adverse event/interaction monitoring, and developing supportive care plans (antiemetics, growth factors, pain management). The Registered Pharmacist will counsel patients on oral oncolytics, side-effect management, and adherence; collaborate closely with oncologists, APPs, and infusion nurses; support investigational drug services and clinical trials; perform medication reconciliation and MTM; contribute to formulary and P&T initiatives; and manage inventory for chemotherapeutic and biologic agents.
What's Needed to Succeed:
- Degree from an accredited Pharmacy program
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of New York or ability to obtain
- Prior working experience in an oncology setting
