Evaluator

Refinitiv US LLC (now part of LSEG) seeks Evaluator (New York, NY) Job Duties: Provide timely and accurate end-of-day evaluations on US Corporate fixed income securities for pricing services. Duties include:1. Provide fair values prices on Corporate Bonds/Syndicated Bank Loans by observing available market color and applying it to the pricing model. 2. Aggregate and assess appropriate market color to be used in determining fair market value (trades, quotes, contributions).3. Respond to price challenges and deep dive requests by researching current markets with an explanation of detailed pricing methodology4. Analyze quality control reports for suspect prices and record reasons for price movements.5. Drive methodology and automation enhancement to improve coverage and pricing accuracy.6. Work with business analysts to improve the customer experience through automation.7. Document work procedures and methodology enhancements.8. Collaborate and contribute on ad-hoc projects and liaise with development staff on process improvements. May telecommute part of the week from commuting distance to New York per company hybrid work policy.All Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Analytics, Financial Engineering, or closely related quantitative field plus 2 years of experience in a data analyst-related occupation. Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:1. 2 years of experience performing fixed income analytics and production.2. 2 years of experience working with customers addressing their queries on market data, bond valuations and fixed-income analytics.3. 2 years of experience working with Excel/VBA/Python to automate processes, streamline bond pricing workflows and enhance efficiency in market analysis.4. 2 years of experience with commercial and open-source relational databases including SQL Server and MySQL.5. 1 year of experience in quality control, measuring and ensuring accuracy and consistency in fixed income valuations.Job Site: 28 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10005 (Full-Time).
