In full growth mode, we have just launched a search for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team at the corporate headquarters in NYC.

Summary of Position:

The Junior Graphic Designer's primary objective is to provide high-quality, creative support to The Halal Guys' Development and Marketing teams. As Junior Graphic Designer you will conceive of innovative, strategically sound, and highly creative messages that positively highlight the Halal Guys brand. You will bring creativity, flexibility, and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and emerging technologies. If you have an exceptional design portfolio, we encourage you to apply!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute a wide array of design projects that are both on-brand and heighten The Halal Guys' overall creative output/aesthetic.
• Collaborate with the Development and Marketing teams in the creation of sales support materials (including PowerPoint presentations, sales sheets, business cards, etc.), POS, off- and Online ads, motion graphics, videos, and more.
• Follow defined brand guidelines while providing design solutions for print and digital, communication materials including invitations, flyer's, programs, brochures, reports and digital assets for social and web.
• Completes projects by coordinating with internal departments, outside agencies, art services, printers and other stakeholders.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
• Proactively contribute to team effort by accomplishing related projects, as needed.

Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics.
• Digital media experience.
• Knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects, InDesign).
• HTML, CSS, PHP and other coding languages a plus.
• Very strong typography skills and design/aesthetic sensibility.
• Knowledge of print production and pre-press best practices.
• Ability to take and process constructive artistic feedback and work independently.

• Excellent project management skills with good judgment and extremely high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Self-Starter who is skilled at completing tasks with minimal support.
• Hard working with great interpersonal qualities.
• Must have the ability to multi-task, exhibit flexibility, and operate in a fast-paced working environment while meeting deadlines.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on excellent Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
• Must have experience with design for email marketing applications.
• Must have PowerPoint working knowledge.
• Restaurant/hospitality experience is a plus

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required in Graphic Design/Design Communication with a minimum of one to two years of relevant experience.

Job Type : Full time (Not remote).

Salary: $65,000.00 Per Year.
