Bright Line Eating Coach
Title: Part-time Bright Line Eating Coach (Independent Contractor)
Location: Remote. No relocation necessary.
Role Type: This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a currently licensed/credentialed coach, therapist, or health care professional.
Role Summary Description:
We’re seeking a Bright Line Eater to join our team as a contracted BLE Coach. This is a unique opportunity for someone with an existing coaching or professional practice who is deeply rooted in the Bright Line Eating program and passionate about supporting others on their journey to food freedom.
As a contractor, you’ll work closely with our Customer Journey/Customer Experience department, collaborating with team members in that area and partnering cross-functionally with other departments as needed. This role is flexible and may evolve over time based on your strengths, interests, and availability, as well as the ongoing needs of Bright Line Eating.
Because this position plays a key role in guiding our members, extensive personal and practical knowledge of the Bright Line Eating program is essential. You must have taken our courses and be using the BLE tools consistently in your own life.

Areas of Responsibility may include some or all of the following:
- Lead regular Coaching Calls, Accountability Calls, and/or Office Hours, and step in for other coaches when needed
- Develop and present content for Community Connection LIVE events
- Actively engage with members in the Online Support Communities (Hub and Facebook), offering encouragement, celebrating wins, and responding to questions
- Monitor Facebook groups (The BLEC and Fifth Bright Line), including member adds/removals, post removals, etc., following established SOPs
- Answer questions and provide guidance via Help Scout (e.g., Meetup questions, support requests)
- Join collaborative team meetings as needed
- Attend monthly All Team Calls as needed
- Contribute to content creation projects such as:
- Reviewing or recording panelist videos for courses
- Creating course content (e.g., outlines, worksheets, reflection questions)
- Participating in scholarship recipient selection twice a year
- Co-creating live or recorded offerings for special programs or retreats
- Regularly listen to Coaching Calls, Susan’s vlog, and other key BLE content/program development (e.g., webinars, Facebook Lives, new courses/videos) in order to remain aligned with current thinking, offerings, and approaches

Prior Work Experience and Education Required:
- History of coaching, counseling, and/or teaching
- Extensive knowledge of the Bright Line Eating Boot Camp
- Experience living in a Bright Body
- In possession of a computer and a smartphone
- Experience and familiarity with 12-Step programs (not required, but a plus)
- Experience leading an online community (not required, but a plus)
- Reliable internet access
- Comfort with technology and experience learning new software
Preferred Experience With One or More of the Following Areas:
- Eating disorder recovery experience
- Familiarity with GLP-1 weight loss medications
- International Coach Federation (ICF) certification and general coaching experience
- 12-step addiction recovery
- Nutrition
- Medical backgrounds
- Trauma-informed modalities (e.g., IFS, therapy)
- Exercise science
- Parenting young children
- Being a spokesperson, public speaker, or online influencer
- Other specialties that would broaden our coaching base
