Lead Product Manager, Growth

In this role, you will …
- Execute the product-led growth strategy for MongoDB Atlas, setting and exceeding ambitious goals for retention, activation, and expansion
- Lead a cross-functional team to deliver high-impact growth initiatives, including onboarding, self-service upgrades, audience shifts
- Mentor and guide junior Product Managers to think more broadly and creatively about the customer journey, instilling a culture of innovation and strategic problem-solving
- Analyze user data and funnel metrics to uncover friction points, identify opportunities, and prioritize experiments
- Partner with stakeholders across the business including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Data Science, with visibility all the way up to the executive level
- Own the roadmap for growth features and optimizations, balancing quick wins with long-term investments
- Work closely with product leadership in other areas of the organization, building consensus and rallying support for cross-product growth initiatives
- Operate as an owner, balancing functional expertise and team needs in service of our strategic objectives
The ideal candidate will have...
- 7 - 10+ years of Product Management experience, 3+ years of experience leading product management and software engineering teams
- Background in engineering (computer science, electrical, software)
- Experience leading cross-functional, multi-year projects from inception to delivery
- Strategic Vision & Creativity - A track record of crafting innovative growth strategies that expand market reach and build long-term product differentiation
- Passion for understanding developer needs and delivering seamless onboarding, education, and product experiences
- Proven experience leading on-time delivery across stakeholder groups, including Product, Design, and Sales, while demonstrating strong ownership and accountability
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — you’re to distill complex product ideas, rally teams, and evangelize new growth initiatives across the org
- Data-driven and business-minded — you understand why products resonate with customers and know how to measure long-term impact
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify insights, uncover opportunities, and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Experience building programmatic product experiences with a deep understanding of developer-centric requirements, including IAM, integrations, and automation use cases
- A demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and high-functioning team environment, and to developing future leaders
- Additional desirable qualities include comfort with ambiguity and change, and a strong focus on process and efficiency
