Microtel Inn & Suites Front desk clerk
Microtel Inn & Suites – Seneca Falls is committed to delivering clean, comfortable stays with friendly, reliable service. We are looking for a dependable, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
Position Overview
As Front Desk Personnel, you will be the face of the hotel—handling check-ins/outs, assisting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and takes pride in keeping things organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist guests upon arrival
- Efficiently manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions
- Process payments accurately and handle basic accounting tasks
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs
- Maintain a clean, professional front desk and lobby area
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and problem-solving
- Follow all hotel policies, safety standards, and Wyndham brand procedures
Qualifications
- Hotel or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literate; experience with hotel PMS systems a plus
- Professional appearance and reliable attendance
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
