Product Manager

Position Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategy, development, and launch of Skywire’s internet, telecom, and related service offerings. This role sits at the intersection of customers, technology, and operations. The Product Manager works closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, sales, and customer success) and with customers to ensure products are positioned, delivered, and continuously improved to meet market needs.
What You Will Do / Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product lifecycle from strategy to launch, including ideation, requirements gathering, testing, rollout, and post-launch support.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, translating customer needs into clear product requirements.
- Partner with engineering, service delivery, and operations to scope and prioritize product features and enhancements.
- Oversee product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery to market.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and support sales and marketing with product positioning, training, and collateral.
- Monitor product performance (financial, operational, and customer adoption metrics) and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Act as the subject matter expert for assigned products, providing guidance to both internal teams and customers.
- Facilitate customer feedback sessions and industry research to anticipate market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Manage product documentation, roadmaps, and release notes.
- Support escalations related to products and services, working with customer success and technical support teams.
- Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment between product vision and operational execution.
- Communicate product updates and initiatives to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Champion continuous improvement and efficiency in product-related processes.
- Represent Skywire externally when engaging customers, vendors, and industry partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related field (Master’s a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in telecom, networking, or SaaS.
- Proven track record of launching and managing successful products.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with telecom technologies, internet services, and customer connectivity solutions preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
