Job Spec

Mosaic is looking for a AVP, Cyber Claims. The ideal candidate will be located in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience handling first-party and third-party claims, preferably both primary and excess
• Evaluate information on coverage, liability, and damages to determine extent of exposure to insured and company
• Directly and closely monitor assignments to experts and counsel
• Provide outstanding customer service and build longstanding relationships with insureds, brokers, and partners
• Communicate coverage positions to insureds
• Set and monitor reserves within authority
• Report to reinsurers and other insurance partners
• Support business leaders on an as-needed basis on claims and underwriting-related issues
• Attendance at mediations and trials, as necessary

Skills, Experience and Education

• 2+ years of experience as a cyber claims adjuster (Lloyd’s experience a plus)
• Knowledge of industry best practices and systems
• Strong relational skills, particularly in adverse or high-pressure situations
• Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; ability to deal with customers and business partners in professional manner
• Ability to make prompt, intelligent decisions based on detailed analysis of complex issues
• Start-up nature of company necessitates willingness to adapt as needed to help team

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary this position is $95,000 - $125,000.
