Position Summary

Unique Structures is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee retail and commercial construction projects across the United States. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and promoting a safe jobsite environment.

This position requires travel and the ability to manage projects independently while serving as the primary field representative for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and identify potential delays
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Conduct site safety meetings and enforce safety requirements
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to project management and clients
• Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and project records
• Coordinate inspections and project closeout activities
• Foster positive relationships with clients, landlords, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience
• Retail construction experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience managing multiple subcontractor trades
• Proficiency with construction technology and reporting tools
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States
