Summary:
- The position requires a Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a full-time capacity in the Bronx, NY.
- The role involves diagnosing and treating common and chronic illnesses, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
- The professional will work onsite from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Bilingual, Spanish preferred
- Current NY county Registered Nurse license and Registration
- Nurse Practitioner Certification and Registration
- Current Practice Agreement
- Current BCLS, Infection Control, Child Abuse certifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in diagnosing and treating common and chronic illnesses
- Ability to perform health assessments and physical exams
- Proficiency in developing and managing care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in patient education and counseling
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in providing age-appropriate care
