Beth El Day Camp is a Jewish summer camp for children ages 2-12. Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 16 years.
- Ability to interact positively and communicate effectively with groups of varying ages. Flexible. Willing to adapt schedule based on camp needs.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and crouch or kneel to attain quality images and video footage.
- Ability to capture photographs and/or videos in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Strong photography and/or videography skills, including the ability to use professional software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines and deadlines.
- Possess a strong sense of initiative and work ethic.
- Experience with digital photography and videography using iPhone or equivalent. Photography/videography samples required.
- Experience with social media content creation and curation.
- Interest in visual arts/marketing a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Take high-quality photographs and/or videos of campers, staff, and camp activities. Edit and organize photos and videos for easy access and use by the camp.
- When designated by Photographer, post photos on Remini, our photo sharing platform, by 5pm daily.
- Develop a schedule with Photographer to ensure that each group is being photographed while engaged in different activities, daily.
- Take videos of campers daily and create weekly camp video, to be shown to campers and camp families every Friday afternoon.
- Work with the camp director and marketing team to create promotional materials featuring camp photos and videos.
- Curate camp social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook), including content creation and audience engagement.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
- We are open to utilizing special skills the applicant may possess.
Important Dates: Mandatory Staff Orientation:
- New Staff: Thursday, June 11th (5:00pm - 9:00pm)
- All Staff #1: Sunday, June 14th (11:30am - 6:00pm)
- All Staff #2: Monday, June 15th (5:00pm-9:00pm)
- All Staff #3: Sunday, June 28th (12:00pm - 3:00pm)
Camper Meet & Greet:
- Meet & Greet #1: Monday, June 22nd (3:30pm - 6:00pm)
- Meet & Greet #2: Thursday, June 25th (3:30pm - 6:00pm)
- Hours: 8:20 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
- Camp Session: June 29 - August 14, 2026 (open July 3rd)
- Bi-Weekly Staff Meetings: 7:45 A.M.
Compensation: Salary range: $3,000 to $5,000 commensurate with experience
