Join our dedicated team at our Newburgh location as a skilled Medical adjunct. In this pivotal function, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our MD and NP in their medical tasks. We are searching for a candidate who possesses strong computer expertise, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks within a dynamic environment. You will primarily work in Newburgh, with occasional travel to the Poughkeepsie location (advanced notice will be provided).


Requirements for the Medical adjunct position:

»Completion of high school or equivalent

»A minimum of 1 year of practice as a Medical adjunct in a clinical setting

»Exceptional communication expertise

»Proficiency in multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment

»Strong computer expertise


Responsibilities of the Medical adjunct:

»Prepare examination rooms and escort patients to their respective rooms

»Assist the medical team during procedures and examinations

»Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring proper charting

»Ensure sterilization of medical equipment

»Offer patient education under the guidance of the physician or NP


this function primarily focuses on internal medicine and orthopedics, involving tasks such as recording vital signs, charting, rooming patients, and providing essential assistance to our MD and NP. Proficiency in computer expertise is necessary for efficient workflow. Pay rate for this job offer is $18-$20 per hour.
