Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem Goshen, NY

Star Nursing is seeking RNs for urgent per diem opportunities at a Sub-Acute Rehab Facility in Goshen, NY (10924). Full-time block booking is available, offering the opportunity to secure a steady schedule and potentially exceed 40 hours per week.

• Facility: Sub-Acute Rehab

• Position: RN Registered Nurse

• Job Type: Per Diem

• Shifts Available:

  • Overnight (11 PM 7 AM)

  • PM Shift (3 PM 11 PM)

  • AM & PM Weekend Shifts

• Per Diem Rate: $53 per hour (taxable)

• Split Pay Rate: $23 per hour (taxable) + $1280 (tax-free)

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• RN NY In good standing
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• IV Certification
• Current - BLS/CPR
• Skills checklist
• Copy or driver s license and SS card
• Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
